Congressman Quigley Addresses YPT Chicago
Congressman Quigley to Address YPT Chicago
YPT Chicago looks forward to hosting Congressman Mike Quigley (IL-05) for a discussion on transportation Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Bar Louie (47 W Polk in the South Loop) at 5:00 PM!
Congressman Quigley has been involved in Chicago politics for over thirty years. Before he was elected to Congress in 2009 to replace then-incoming White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Quigley served as a Cook County Commissioner first elected in 1998. Currently, Rep. Quigley is the only Illinois member of the House Committee on Appropriations, where he is focused on driving investment to Chicago-area infrastructure projects and sits on the Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development.
YPT Chicago looks forward to learning from Congressman Quigley's experience on the Appropriations Committee and what the new political climate means for Chicago.
